I know I'm getting a little too hung up on wet flowers, but we don't always get such nice rain so late in the season, with all the May blooms in full force. I hope it doesn't mess up the fruit pollination cycles.
Hilda - I was glad it was both cloudy and light, creating that effect for me. I never really know if I got the shot until I look at it enlarged on my computer.
PA - I like the white ones too. The red dot on these seem to be from a clashing palette, but the overall effect is nice on the shrub.
Kym - I don't know what this one is called specifically, but it looks like crumpled silk even after it is completely unfurled. I guess some poppies are like that too.

Very pretty with all the tiny water droplets.
I love the white version of that flower. I had two of them. Funny, they both died after four or five years.
I've never seem that color before. Very pretty.

I;m glad you got rain. I'm sure the landscape knows how to accept it, not matter the time of year.
