This one doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. The metal structure there almost certainly houses the controls for the nearby rail crossing safety signals. But it looks hammered, or blasted with a shotgun. Someone wanted desperately to drive into the path of an oncoming train?

Yeah, but look at that house right there if you miss. Not a good situation.
It does look like it's been painted over since someone raged on it.
