Goat Milk?

Such wonderful photos, especially the squirt from the udder. Makes me nostalgic for Heifer Ranch. There is nothing quite like your ear on a warm goat while milking a warm udder on a cold day.
Goats are wonderful, and so is their cheese.

Dina, I thought of you when assembling these photos. I hope your hands were warm before handling the goats' udders! I've never tried milking before, but I've seen it done fairly often, now that I think about it. I mean, for a city kid.

A story told in pictures. I've never seen a goat milked. I grew up in farm country but it was all cows and corn. I kinda like goats, though.

I milked a goat once. Theres a certain technique involved. Pushing up into the utter before you pull down.
Goats and horses both have that strange sideways pupil. Love um, think the neighbor down the street is keeping one illegally. Better then rosters

You girls have to put goat milking on your Do List.
No, my hands were cold in AR winters but the does didn't seem to mind.
PA, the joke at Heifer Ranch about the goats was that if YOU had to look out from between the slits of a wooden pen all day, your eyes too would have rectangular pupils.
